Hi, I'm Cole, one of the co-founders of ByName Apparel. Thanks for being here.

If you had told me a few years ago that I'd be helping start a clothing brand, I probably wouldn't have believed you. Clothing was never something I expected to build a business around. But God has a way of using ordinary things in ways we don't expect.

Growing up, I always considered myself a Christian, but for a long time my faith wasn't where I found my identity. That started to change when I became more involved in my local church's college ministry. As I stepped out of my comfort zone and started serving, my relationship with Jesus became personal. My faith stopped being something I had grown up around and became something I genuinely wanted to live out.

As God continued to grow my heart for sharing the Gospel, I found myself drawn to simple Christian clothing with a deeper meaning. That's when I realized something as ordinary as a T-shirt could become an opportunity for an extraordinary conversation about Jesus. I remember thinking, "What if clothing could be used to point people toward Christ?"

I shared that idea with my friend Matt, and together we started building what would become ByName Apparel.

The name ByName comes from Isaiah 43:1.

"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine."

That verse is the heart of this brand. It's a reminder that God doesn't see us as just another face in the crowd—He knows each of us personally. No matter where you've been, how far you feel from Him, or what your story looks like, He calls you by name and invites you into a relationship with Him.

That's why ByName exists.

My prayer is that these shirts become more than just something you wear. I hope they remind you of who you are in Christ, spark conversations with the people around you, and create opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel. Whether that's with a friend, a classmate, a coworker, or even a stranger, I believe God can use ordinary moments to do extraordinary things.

If you're wearing ByName, I hope it reminds you that your identity isn't found in the world—it's found in the One who calls you by name.
